Collection: Tanzania

Better known for it's vast Safari wilderness, like the Serengeti, Tanzania has pockets of excellent Arabica coffee production - especially in the iconic Mt Kilimanjaro region in the north - on the border with Kenya.

Coffee is Tanzania's largest export crop - and there are some hidden gem regions for quality Arabica - especially in the Kigoma region on the shores of Lake Tanganika. It is here that sustainable agricultural practices were introduced by foreign aid initiatives, which helped to stimulate smallholder production in a fertile, remote part of the country, where most people survive on subsistence farming and fishing.
